The ASUS ROG Strix 1200W Platinum is a high-performance power supply designed for demanding gaming and high-end PC builds. Delivering 1200W of power with 80 PLUS and Cybenetics Platinum efficiency, it supports the latest ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards, making it well suited for flagship graphics cards and modern high-performance components. Its Fully Modular design allows only the required cables to be connected for cleaner cable management and improved airflow.
The power supply features GaN MOSFET technology for improved efficiency and reduced heat generation, along with GPU-FIRST voltage sensing and a patented intelligent voltage stabilizer to help deliver stable power to the graphics card. It includes a native 12V-2x6 (16-pin) connector for modern GPUs, as well as 4 × PCIe 6+2-pin, 2 × CPU 4+4-pin, 6 × SATA and 3 × peripheral connectors. It measures 160 × 150 × 86 mm and weighs 1.84 kg.
Cooling is handled by large ROG heatsinks and a dual-ball-bearing fan with 0dB technology, allowing the fan to stop under low loads for quieter operation, backed by Cybenetics Lambda A noise certification. Comprehensive protection features including OCP, OVP, UVP, OPP, SCP, and OTP help protect the system, while the +12V rail can deliver the full 1200W capacity.
